Gardell Christensen

Gardell Christensen was a sculptor who worked with the American Museum of Natural History between 1928 and 1941. His main expertise was building clay models, armature as well as taxidermy mounts. He accompanied W. D. Campbell in his African expedition in 1936-1937.

Christensen worked with James L. Clark on the mounts for the Lion Group in the Akeley Hall of African Mammals, the Grizzly Bears, the Mountain Lion, and the Mountain Goats in the Hall of North American Mammals.
