Bongo Group

Bongo; Africa; Bongo Forest, Thiririka River, Aberdare Range, Kenya Colony, East Africa, Nov. 28, 1934; Mus #90010; The neck here is very flat and has a deep hollow like this which takes up a lot of skin but does not show until you pull the animal's head back. The bongo neck is very big like a rutting deer, tremendous in size. The body is like a duicker always sort of humped up; Following curve of leg; stamped: "James L.
