Astrolabe with rete incorporating sights, 2 latitude plates, mater with pierced throne. The back has a calendar with three apertures, one showing the lunar phase, one the numerical age of the moon, one the positions of the sun and moon in the zodiac. The calendar, worked by the motion of the rete, is moved by a gear train within the mater, comprising 5 cog wheels, 2 of which are double. Pin and horse.
